[She might like surprises, and had left a window unlocked for him, but she's not stupid. There was no promise to turn off her security cameras. Barbara knew when he arrived, the system giving her the warning that she wasn't alone. The only sign she received the notice was a quick smile that crossed her face before she went back to the file she'd been reading.
